DEGREE CREDIT HOURS

               R. I. T. DEGREE CREDIT HOURS

All degrees awarded are religious degrees. Most courses offered are valued at 3 credit hours.

ASSOCIATE DEGREE:  May be granted upon completion of 60 credit hours. (18 to 20 months)

BACHELOR DEGREE: May be granted upon completion of 120 credit hours or 60 credit hours above the Associate Degree.( 36 to 40 months)

MASTERS DEGREE: May be granted upon completion of 162 credit hours or 36 hours above the Bachelors Degree plus 6 credit hours for a submitted thesis. Total needed 42 credit hours. ( 12 to 15 months)

DOCTORATE DEGREE: May be granted upon completion of 210 credit hours or 36 hours above the Masters Degree plus 12 credit hours for a submitted thesis, must be scholarship level quality. Total needed 48 credit hours. ( 12 to 15 months )

R.I.T. CHRISTIAN STUDIES CERTIFICATE: May be granted upon the completion of 120 credit hours. The R.T.I. certificate is equivalent to a Bachelors Degree.

Students may enter any time during any given semester year and work at their own pace, which may be for a shorter or longer time period than the estimated time durations shown above. Students may graduate whenever their academic work is finished and all tuition and fees are paid.

       R. I. T. DEGREES OF SPECIALIZATION

A Degree of Specialization is offered through an extended field research project and 15 elective credit hours as well as an internship/partnership with ministries and agencies.
